Of course Republicans didn't pass any laws protecting free speech on campus. They had been cracking down on it after the pro-Palestine protests in 2023. Now I don't expect anyone here to be sympathetic to Palestinians but it's obvious Republicans don't really care about free speech either for the most part. Especially the establishment.
This was a golden opportunity to bring down the hammer on the Radical and particularly violent Left but as usual the establishment Right (im including Trump in that description) did sweet F.A.
The centre Right particularly across the Anglo-sphere hasn't got the revolutionary energy or the "Will to Power" that the Left has.
Using the power of the state doesn't come natural to them.
It's almost as if the centre Right want to be "beautiful losers".
