All our former music clubs and bars have been replaced with casinos filled the meth heads and microbreweries that are filled with old white guys and fat girls that close at 8:00. Pretty tuff to stay awake after 5 pints of ail and no suitable female entertainment when you’re in your 50s. For a while strip clubs were becoming more mainstream but that of course has ended because apparently it’s not right to appreciate the female form in that environment as we know all the strippers were forced into it and would probably be stay at home moms with 3 kids if everything was right. I don’t know how young people deal with this, I guess they play video games and focus on looks maxing in the off chance they might meet a potential mate at the gym. No fun allowed anymore, no chance meeting with a cute stranger because the minute she gets your name she can mine the internet to find your previous improprieties and use these as leverage to deny you both a chance encounter that might lead to a sexually satisfying or even slightly fun encounter with you before she decides to go home to her girlfriend or her vibrational plastic utensils or both. Robots will be the nail in the coffin for dating, then we will see fertility crater completely. The phrase why bother seems appropriate now.
