Farage is not perfect, however without him the Brexit Referendum would never have happened. He has had the biggest impact of any British politician on UK politics for many years other than one or two Prime Ministers such as Thatcher and Blair, and all until this year without being elected to Westminster. It would be crazy to drop him now when he has created a real possibility of reaching 10 Downing Street and deservedly so after playing an often lonely role for many years in the teeth of opposition from the entire British Establishment and Media, not to mention a few nasty attacks on him physically.
Does that matter? Do other parties have "actual costed detailed policies" either? Given the mess Labour has quickly made, I suggest probably not. In any event, I think it is a mistake having policies on everything. Just stick to a few core things that need changing the most before moving on to everything else.
That's two days running you've needlessly and unfairly disparaged Wetherspoon, which by the way is a very democratic company, rewards its staff with shares, and has a very wide range of customers. If you continue to do so, I'll unsubscribe. Please review your judgemental, inaccurate and snobbish attitude to Wetherspoon, whether you like to drink/eat there, or not
I regularly drink at Wetherspoons. No snobbery intended. I will change it in the other article to 'pub toilets', since it this is probably more accurate anyway.
What is it about "counter-jihad" that you regard as "nonsense"? Do you regard its understanding of Islamic theology as wrong? Or that is has the right understanding but the wrong political project?

Farage has ruled out mass deportations and stated that we need to appease Islam. I’m not voting for that thanks.
This is my problem with Farage too. He doesn't seem to have the stomach to do what is necessary.

Hello Scott,

A very well reasoned piece of journalism
I keep coming back to this one - the Farage farrago aside, it's a very good overview of the current situation and our future prospects.
Yep Robinson is a joke.
