Good morning.

I’m late again, but this time I promise it was for a good cause: a friend, and indeed (more important still) a Pimlico Journal contributor, was having ‘woman problems’, and needed advice. Being ‘a good fucking person’, as leftists would put it, I decided to delay. I’m sure you’d all do the same.

Today, we take a step back and look again at the Starmer Government’s economic strategy after the Spending Revenue; and discuss Baroness Casey’s ‘National Audit on Group-Based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse’.

This newsletter’s agenda: Rachel Reeves — Treasury cipher, or Starmerite ideologue? (paid); A quick look at the National Audit on Group-Based Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (paid)
